FlutterBond Sticky Situations: How NOT to Glue Your Lashes (and Yourself) Together! 😂💕"

Right, listen up, lash lovers—some of you have been getting into serious trouble with FlutterBond. And by trouble, I mean accidentally sticking your lashes to your tweezers, your tweezers to your lashes, and (in extreme cases) your own face.

I get it—FlutterBond is strong. That’s why we love it. But if you don’t use it right, you’ll end up looking less like a lash queen and more like you lost a fight with a glue stick. So before you find yourself in a lash cluster-related crisis, let’s talk about what not to do.

Rule #1: Less Is More—You’re Not Decorating a Cake 🎂

If your lashes are turning white after applying the bond, you’ve overdone it! FlutterBond should dry clear, not look like you’ve been let loose with PVA glue in an art lesson.

If it’s white, it means:

🚨 You’ve applied too much.

🚨 It hasn’t gone tacky yet.

🚨 Your lashes are slipping and sliding instead of sticking.

Fix It Fast!

Gone a bit heavy-handed? No stress. Just take your ring finger, lightly dab off the excess, and give it a second to get tacky before applying your lashes. It should feel slightly sticky, not wet or gloopy.

Rule #2: Clean Your Tweezers Unless You Want Them Permanently Attached ✂️

This one’s important. If you don’t keep your tweezers clean, they’ll start picking up more glue than your lashes do—leading to a sticky mess where everything clings together except what’s actually supposed to.

🚨 True story: Someone (naming no names, but let’s just say @Niki is still recovering) once applied too much bond and ended up with her lash stuck to her tweezer… which was stuck to her actual lashes… which were stuck to her face. I nearly passed out laughing.

Moral of the story?

Wipe. Your. Tweezers.

Rule #3: If It Goes Wrong, Laugh It Off & Try Again 😆

Look, we all have our moments. Maybe you’ve glued your eye half shut. Maybe you’ve accidentally given yourself a FlutterBond facelift. It happens.

Just remember:

Dab off excess bond if needed

Wait until it’s tacky before placing the lashes

Keep your tweezers clean (seriously!)

If all else fails, unstick yourself and have a good laugh about it

Stick with it (pun absolutely intended), and soon you’ll be applying your lashes like a pro—without needing a rescue mission.

Got a FlutterBond fail of your own? Drop it in the comments—we promise to only laugh a little… 😉 Happy fluttering! 💖👀✨
